Notes

The municipal-side confirmation that a cannabis store actually opened (AGLC's pending list is the provincial application side). Sort by originalissuedate for genuinely new stores; the full set maps retail saturation by neighbourhood for 'is your area over-served' analysis.

LICENCE LINKED 2026-10-12 (owner: a licence link wherever possible): its dataset on data.edmonton.ca states its licence as 'See Terms of Use' (licenseId SEE_TERMS_OF_USE, read 2026-10-12 at /api/views/<id>.json), and the portal's Terms of Use link opens the Open Government Licence – City of Edmonton v1.0 (story msh8-if28). Low volume — most rows are renewals, so filter on originalissuedate not most_recent_issue_date. Effectively a filtered view of qhi4-bdpu.
