Notes

Same capital-project data as building.edmonton.ca but on the documented, versioned Socrata platform with SoQL filtering — safer to build a pipeline against. Companion geometry datasets nmn5-5yzc (line) and xw7u-7mr6 (point) let you map projects.

LICENCE LINKED 2026-10-12 (owner: a licence link wherever possible): its dataset on data.edmonton.ca states its licence as 'See Terms of Use' (licenseId SEE_TERMS_OF_USE, read 2026-10-12 at /api/views/<id>.json), and the portal's Terms of Use link opens the Open Government Licence – City of Edmonton v1.0 (story msh8-if28). WIRED: pipeline/sources/capital.py reads dataset 552h-hjwj for the capital-projects rail every build; this entry was labelled NOT WIRED while code read the endpoint. Enabled so the audit matches the code. Not daily. Use as reference/enrichment for infrastructure items, not as a daily trigger. Was catalogued as NOT WIRED as of 2026-08-21. Its mode has no generic collector and no code refers to this endpoint, so nothing fetched it and no health record ever existed. Disabled so the registry stops counting it as coverage; the entry is kept because the endpoint was verified and this is a wiring backlog, not a dead source. See ops/wiring.py.
