Notes

The league's own press room. Since 2026-10-08 it is the Elks fixture's source: pipeline/sources/cfl.py claims this row, reads the feed, and reads the newest weekly playoff-scenarios release it links ('<week>: <headline>') for that release's '<week> SCHEDULE' rows, which state a game's date, visitor 'at' host, and kickoff. Also collected as news (mode feed), succeeding cfl_ca_league_wide_rss, whose www.cfl.ca/feed/ answers 404. One request per edition: pipeline.http memoises a run's GETs by URL and both readers fetch this url.

TITLES ONLY: each item carries title, link, guid and pubDate, with no description and no body, and no title states a date or a score. English and French releases come in pairs. The weekly storylines release ('WEEK 18 IN THE CFL') lists each coming matchup's PRIOR MEETINGS ('Week 17: HAM 35 – EDM 37'): a season series, not a team's last game; never read it as a last result. Scenario releases with a schedule list ran from Week 13 in 2026; mid-season weeks had none, so the Elks item is absent then. pubDate is not the release's instant: 'Tue, 06 Oct 2026 15:00:00 +0000' for a release whose JSON-LD datePublished is 2026-10-06T19:00:00+00:00 (Toronto wall time stamped +0000); cfl.py uses it only for the year and a day-level window. robots.txt (2026-10-08): 'Disallow: /subscribe/*', 'Disallow: /unsubscribe', no Crawl-delay. Hosted by Prezly; release pages link /privacy-policy and not the CFL terms of use.
