Full-text federal debate. Grep for 'Edmonton' to catch every mention of the city or its MPs in the House.

TERMS CORRECTED AND LICENCE LINKED 2026-10-12 (DECISIONS #42): the House's own Speaker's Permission governs Hansard, not canada.ca's terms, which this record cited before — reproduction 'is hereby permitted', 'provided that the reproduction is accurate and is not presented as official', and not 'for commercial purpose of financial gain'. URL pattern: /Content/House/<parl><sess>/Debates/<NNN>/HAN<NNN>-E.XML where 451 = 45th Parliament, 1st Session and NNN is the zero-padded sitting number. You must know/iterate the sitting number — there's no index XML. The HTML viewer equivalent www.ourcommons.ca is 200 (275KB) if you prefer HTML. Committee evidence uses a similar pattern but my guess at /Content/Committee/451/FINA/Evidence/EV1/FINAEV01-E.XML returned 404 — the Evidence path needs the real meeting ID, so resolve it from the committee page first.
