Notes

Your canonical Edmonton MP roster with party affiliation — used to tag federal Hansard mentions and press releases to local members.

TERMS CORRECTED 2026-10-12 (DECISIONS #42): the member directory is website content, not proceedings, so the Speaker's Permission does not reach it; the House's general copyright clause grants nothing and says permission 'may be sought'. The Open Data page's 'without restrictions' is a definition of open data, not a grant. The paper uses names and ridings — facts. No licence is linked; the basis (open_licence) does not match, and the owner is asked. The default search XML appears to mix in some historical members (I saw both current and prior holders for a couple of seats), so cross-check against the constituency list before publishing names. Companion endpoint: www.ourcommons.ca (verified 200, application/xml, 122,018 bytes).
