Notes

Advance notice of press conferences and operations. Occasionally gives lead time on a major Alberta announcement before the news release lands.

LICENCE LINKED 2026-10-12 (owner: a licence link wherever possible): a Government of Canada institution's site; the record cites canada.ca's terms, which permit non-commercial reproduction. National scope, so Alberta content is sparse. Sibling feeds exist at the same path for news-release, backgrounder, statement, speech, plus /region/{central,eastern,northwest,pacific} — all enumerated from rcmp.ca. FORWARD_LOOKING set 2026-08-24. A feed named 'media advisories' - the items announce events before they happen, so `published` is when the advisory went out rather than a measure of how current it is. Ages against the 90-day bound rather than the 4-day one. Measured: its own list carries advisories to a median age of 92 days.
