Notes

National-championship context — when Alberta reaches a U SPORTS final (Vanier Cup, University Cup, Final 8), it shows up here.

Bot-blocked on the obvious paths: usports.ca, en.usports.ca, usports.ca, usports.ca all return 403; en.usports.ca = 404. Only the ?print=rss composite works, and only with a browser UA. Nationwide volume — this is HIGH-VOLUME NOISE for an Edmonton brief; use it as a keyword-triggered source ('Alberta', 'Golden Bears', 'Pandas') rather than a daily read. Schedule and results, one row per game, ordered OLDEST-FIRST. Each row links to its sport's season page with the PrestoSports event id as the fragment. Only a decided game (ps:score records W, L or T) becomes a candidate, keyed on that event id; fixtures, cancellations and games in progress are dropped in parse_feed and counted as last_fixture_rows in source health (2026-09-13). Kept enabled because the feed is live and these are Edmonton-area teams whose home games would suit an events rail; it is not a broken source. Verified 2026-08-21.
