Edmonton council to debate $24-million winter snow plan

The $24-million plan would aim to make snow clearing on main roads more predictable, increase staffing, support winter events and improve movement for cyclists and pedestrians. Council would debate the proposed changes against the existing $60-million removal budget during fall budget talks. Council will discuss the package at the end of the month and decide what to fund during budget talks in November.
